SD-DTU is the only society in DTU that is completely development oriented. The society promotes development culture to the fullest. At first, students are given classes by senior members so that all the students can get familiar with the new development culture. Then, projects are given in teams so that they get acquainted with the requirements of working in a team, as well as get going and start developing on their own!
Core-Team started its operations to promote our Motto across different streams in College.
2015
An orientation was organized to let students know more about the society and the things that they will experience in SD-DTU.The orientation received an overwhelming response from students of all streams in the college.
2016
The students of SD-DTU along with the senior members completed various projects in different fields. 17 web based projects and 6 android projects were completed by 70 students
2016
A student guided by the senior members of SD-DTU developed a project called dar.win which got a funding of a whopping $1 million from a New York based company. The student was given ideas on how to improve his idea and build upon it.

SD DTU was started due to the lack of promotion of development culture in our colleges. Our Team understood this problem and with the will to make a difference started the first society aimed at Promotion of Developemnt Culture. The development culture not only among the students of the society but among the students of the whole college was promoted by the society which is the only development society in DTU. Many projects were given to all students and some lectures were also given highlighting the importance of this development culture.
Software Developers- DTU or SD-DTU was created with the sole purpose of providing a platform to like-minded students who would like to hone their coding and developmental skills and take-on projects to create websites and iOS/android applications. The society aims to inculcate a learning environment in which students can come together, discuss ideas and solve problems.
