Can students from branches apart from CSE/IT participate? Also, can hardware models like that of IOT, block chain be included in the project submission?
Students from any branch can take part in the competition. Yes, the project submission can include both hardware and software components.
Do the teams need to send a part of the working model while submitting project ideas for the online round?
No, it is not necessary to submit a prototype of the working project along with the project idea. But the project idea must be elaborate and well explained.
Can the students selected for 2nd round complete the project on campus and do they need to carry their laptops?
No, the campus round is only for project pitching and demonstration and the working project must be at least 70% completed before bringing it to the campus round. Yes, the students need to carry their own laptops.
What all softwares are allowed for the Webdevelopment competition and do the participants need to bring laptops?
Any text editor or any other relevant software can be used. But we won’t provide any software on the spot. So please bring your own software. Yes, the participants need to carry their own laptops. No computers will be provided on the spot.
Is there any preferred theme on which the students need to design for the online round?
No, any relevant theme can be chosen. But the idea must be unique and plagiarized designs will not be accepted.
Will the first round take place in the college campus? What kind of questions will be provided in the round 2?
Yes the first round will take place in the college campus itself. Location details will be provided on the spot. All the details will be provided on the spot. But for solving the questions, as with the first round, the questions can be attempted in any language.
Do the participants need to bring their own laptops for the event?
No, the event will take place in college labs. So there is no need for laptops. If you bring your own laptops then you have to manage the internet connection on your own.
Will certification be provided for attending the workshop?
Yes, participation certificates will be provided for all the events including the workshop.
